Last weekend I had a blast running around New York City with my friends CJ and Melissa. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of laughs! I always love spending time in the Big Apple. There is so much creativity and inspiration on every corner.

We did a lot of eating, a little shopping, and TON of walking ( and not to mention some karaoke). When you go to the city you have no choice but to indulge in the amazing food options. My mouth is watering just thinking about the delicious meals we consumed, from a waffle egg sandwich at brunch to authentic Cuban food. Of course I cant forget the giant decadent donuts from Dough in the Flatiron district. On Sunday we also brunched on the rooftop of Eataly. The sights and aromas at Eataly make me long for my days abroad in Firenze!

With certainty, I can say I am comfortable with exuberant amount of calories that we consumed because we walked every where ( and danced Saturday night away)! My friends and I walked so much that I think we saw almost every part of the city, or at least my favorite parts ( Soho, Flatiron, the High Line etc). When walking around the Empire City footwear is key. You have to be comfortable but of course forever city chic. My Zara oxfords were perfect for the trip! The weekend was so full of adventure and fun, and I look forward to my next journey back to NYC!
